Detroit-born rapper Kash Doll stepped on the music scene in 2015, but she's been writing poems and raps her whole life. Her remix to Tinashe's single "2 On" and feature on Big Sean and Metro Boomin's single "So Good" caught everyone's attention. So, in the same year she released her first single "Run Me My Money," which quickly became an internet sensation. And with over 4.7 million followers on Instagram alone, it's no surprise that both Rihanna and Drake have slid into her DMs before. The artist is still going strong with her latest album Stacked, which dropped in October 2019, and she's got a long list of artists she's collaborated with in her career thus far, including Lil Wayne, Big Sean, Trey Songz, Teyana Taylor, Summer Walker, and more.

If you peep her Instagram, you'll quickly pick up on the fact that Kash Doll is g-l-a-m-o-r-o-u-s and has a beauty routine we all should be privy to. Marie Claire joined the artist in her bathroom for the latest episode of Masked and Answered. Plot twist: This is the first time Kash Doll has ever face masked by herself. She uses the Que Bella Professional Sheet mask ($3), recommended by her makeup artist Chaniece Coleman, to lift makeup from her pores and give her oily skin a deep cleanse.

For her daily skincare routine, first she uses Neutrogena's Makeup Cleansing Wipes ($5) to swipe off the first layer of makeup from her face. "As soon as I wipe my face off with these I feel so relieved and relaxed," she says. Then, she goes in with First Aid Beauty's Cleanser ($21) to remove more of the the surface oil, dirt, and makeup from her skin. Sometimes, she exfoliates with Origins' Refreshing Scrub ($21), which she loves because of its organic ingredients. Lastly, she always moisturizes with Aveeno's Clear Complexion Daily Moisturizer ($13), her absolute favorite never-go-without product for glowing skin. When those occasional breakouts do come up for her, she uses Abreva ($19), a healing cream: "[This] is the first thing that I run to and I swear it disappears," she confirms.

When does she feel the most beautiful? "I have Kash Doll and I have Keisha," she says, sharing her beauty alter egos. "Kash Doll feels the most beautiful when she's beat, baby. When my eyelashes and baby hairs are popping, skin is glowing, I have on a really cute, fly outfit, all my jewelry is dancing in the sun after I clean, my high heels are on, and [I'm wearing] one of my exclusive purses." Then, she goes on to describe Kesha, her other self, which is way more chill comparison to Kash Doll.
