Would you believe me if I told you I started wearing sunscreen daily in my 20s? (I'm still in my 20s, and this is a fairly recent development, but let's keep that between us.) I know better now, and not a day goes by that I don't lather my body with SPF before jetting out the door. As a city dweller, I spend much of my summer wandering around the streets of NYC. Luckily, I've had the pleasure of testing sunscreens with different formulations, price points, and results, and I always go back to the tried-and-true products at CVS.

CVS has always been dedicated to its consumers' sun safety, and it's apparent in the product offerings. It has also been part of several initiatives, such as its partnership with SkinSAFE, a searchable skin product ingredient database developed with Mayo Clinic to help shoppers find curated skincare and beauty products with ease. This is one of the reasons I always head to CVS for my sunscreen essentials.

    Derm-Tested Sunscreen Options

You and I both know that sunscreen is a can't-miss summer skincare step, but not all formulas are created equally. CVS curates dermatologist-tested picks that make sun protection feel approachable, not intimidating. They target the face, body, and scalp so that your skin doesn't go unprotected whenever you're in the sun.

    All Skin Types in Mind

Whether you have sensitive skin that needs extra gentleness, combination skin that craves balance, or melanin-rich skin that requires a sheer finish, CVS carries targeted sunscreen solutions that work for every skin type. My beach bag is not fully packed unless I have a sunscreen spray that applies with ease and gives me a nice glow. I find it so much easier to reapply my SPF on beach days, nature walks, and picnics in the park when it's in a spray can.

    High Value, Low Cost

I've been a beauty editor for five years, which means I've tested hundreds of brands and products on the market. I can say with confidence that the best products are not always the most expensive products. Time and time again, I've been impressed by drugstore offerings, and CVS is no exception. Trust me when I say that CVS has editor-loved and expert-trusted options to suit all your SPF needs this summer and beyond.
