I'll admit it: I've been a big Lady Gaga fan since I was a teenager (I'm an "Alejandro" and "Paper Gangsta" loyalist to this day), but when she announced in 2019 that she'd be launching makeup, I didn't have very high expectations due to my general skepticism for celebrity beauty brands. Fast forward several years later, and Haus Labs, as it's now called, actually happens to be one of my favorite makeup brands.

The first Haus Labs product I ever tested was its liquid foundation, which I still use to this day, but the brand actually has a ton of other products with thoughtful formulas, from complexion products with good-for-your-skin ingredients to multi-use lip and cheek sticks that add a gentle flush of color to your face. I've spent the last two months putting everything else in the Haus Labs lineup to the test—and I obviously have some favorites.

If you've been thinking about giving Haus Labs a try and don't know where to start, keep reading to see all the products you can't go wrong with.

This is my personal, all-time favorite Haus Labs product, and as a person who typically sticks to more breathable skin tints for my everyday makeup look, it's been my go-to complexion product for those nights when I want a little more coverage on my face. That said, this is still a medium-coverage product, but even the smallest amount can give the skin an airbrushed finish without it looking cakey or painted on. It's been a staple in my makeup bag since the brand's relaunch in 2022, and I've yet to find a medium-coverage formula I love more. Most impressive is the shade range: as of now, it includes a whopping 51 (!!) shades that address a variety of undertones, and the deeper shades have incredible depth.

It's also worth noting that the formula includes over 20 skincare ingredients, including fermented arnica, which is an anti-inflammatory, and a blend of antioxidants that keep environmental stressors from impacting the skin.

Triclone Skin Tech Hydrating + De-Puffing Concealer With Fermented Arnica - 11 Light Neutral

This is yet another complexion product with a shade range that I'm truly impressed by, but that's not even half of what makes it so good. It's another high-tech formula that's not only meant to conceal and blur dark circles and blemishes (without getting stuck in your pores and causing even more buildup), but it's also filled with ingredients (again, the arnica, as well as all-stars like hyaluronic acid and niacinamide) that get rid of other markers of tired eyes, like puffiness, after at least two weeks of regular use. After spending a few weeks testing it, I also noticed that it doesn't crease or break apart when applied to oily skin. Just place a few dots in your desired area and blend it with a concealer brush or a sponge.

Applying powder blush is an art I have yet to master, so I gravitate toward creamier formulas, not only because they're easier to apply, but also because they don't look as caked-on when I want to add more color and dimension to my face. This multi-use stick comes in 11 shades ranging from a deep rose (pictured here) to a bright hot pink, and each one has incredible color payoff that you can build on. The cream formula is a lot more forgiving and easier to control and move around when applying, which is good news if you're new to blush in general, but it's also hydrating and won't settle into your pores or exaggerate any texture or lines you might have.

B Structural Volumizing and Lengthening Mascara - Black Onyx

Don't expect for this mascara to be a thick formula that gives your lashes a spidery look. It's very light but buildable; it does its job in lengthening and adding volume to your lashes, but you'll likely need a second or third coat if you really want to give them the oomph that'll make people think you're wearing falsies. Going on light also means that it's not messy, so it won't come out too wet or thick and make your lashes clump together.

Clear Cut Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner - Black Onyx

I've used a lot of eyeliner pens in my day (it took half of my twenties for me to master winged eyeliner), and my main issue with a lot of them is that, while the color payoff is great, I often feel like I'm poking my eyelids with tips that are too scratchy or sharp (it's not the worst problem an eyeliner can have, but still worth noting). When I tested this liquid eyeliner, the first thing I noticed was how soft the felt tip was. It glides over my eyes the same way a wet paintbrush glides on paper, and the ink is long-wearing and doesn't smudge or wear off even at the end of a long day.

Phd Hybrid Hydrating Tinted Lip Oil - Primary

The texture of this lip treatment is much glossier than oily, but it's not the kind of gloss that causes sensory issues or makes your lips feel sticky. To my surprise, it's a formula that really does hydrate dry lips, likely due to the inclusion of skincare ingredients like prickly pear oil, plant-based squalane, and vegan collagen. For everyday occasions, you can wear the neutral, clear version of the oil, but it also comes in three shades for when you want to add a tinge of color to your lips.
