The brand's Le Teint Particulier Custom Foundation offering takes the "second skin" effect to a whole new level by first scanning your skin with an innovative device designed for color accuracy. Then, concocting a one-of-a-kind foundation with customized coverage, finish, and level of hydration based on the readings. No matter what your foundation prescription is, the formula is ultra-light, oil-and-fragrance free, and has buildable, satin-finish coverage.

Even though the technology is only offered in selected Nordstrom stores (see the full list here), beauty lovers have been flocking for the mixed-right-before-your-eyes experience. The cherry on top of the experience? Walking away with a gorgeous white bottled labeled with your name and foundation ID, which you can reference to have your formula recreated. At $80, it doesn't come cheap. But if you're committed to the cause—that being a flawless, seemingly-born-with-it glow—and can appreciate apothecary-like treatment, it may just be worth it.
