These Color-Changing Drops Will Turn Your Makeup Holographic

The internet has developed a borderline obsessive infatuation with mystical, fairy-tale-like beauty. But worry not if unicorn horn makeup brushes or mermaid eye palettes aren't exactly for you—there are more subtle ways to tap into the trend.

A new, bespoke way to bump up the gleam comes in form of Cover Fx's three new shades of its Custom Enhancer Drops: Halo, a multi-dimensional metallic; Blossom, a soft pearlescent pink; and Rose Gold, a warm pink bronze.

Each of the super-concentrated illuminating and bronzing drops can be used alone or mixed in with a liquid product for a customized liquid metal finish. The more drops you use, the more luminous the final results will be.

To strobe, you can warm the shimmery pigment up with your fingertips on the back of your hand, then tap and blend it into all the planes of the face where light hits naturally, like the cheekbones, brow bones, bridge of the nose, cupid's bow, or temples. For a pared-back highlight, try mixing it with a moisturizer before doing so. To get that lit-from-within, all-over glow, add a couple of drops of your choice metallic to a primer, tinted moisturizer, or foundation for sheer holographic radiance.
