Simone Biles is sharing the full details of her recent breast augmentation. On November 19, the Olympic gymnast took to TikTok to share all the details of her plastic surgery, including when she had the procedure and what her recovery was like.

"I got my boobs done on June 16th," she stated at the start of the video. "I got them done in Houston, Texas, by Dr. Kriti Mohan." She then said she opted for an implant under the muscle and chose a size of 310 cc. She also decided to go with high-profile, extra-filled, and silicone implants.

She spent quite a bit of time talking about her recovery process, which she says was more brutal than she initially anticipated. "Y'all lied, this shit hurts so bad," Biles quipped in the video. "Your girl could not move by herself." The recovery process lasted a full two weeks, and Biles could only move comfortably with the help of her husband, Jonothan Owens.

After noting that she knew the risks (particularly breast implant illness and capsular contracture) and decided to proceed anyway, Biles wrapped the video, stating that all plastic surgery can come with risk. "The implants were placed using a funnel, so my incisions are probably half an inch each," she says. "They look really good."

This latest video follows Biles dropping subtle hints about her new look. Earlier this summer, fans of the Olympic gold medalist started speculating on whether or not she went under the knife after she was spotted in a Bikini while on vacation with her husband. A few weeks later, Biles took to Instagram to share her excitement over her new house. In her Instagram story, she shared a video of herself doing a flip on a trampoline in their backyard, captioned, "first flip in a year at the new house with new 🍒." I'm no expert, but as an avid emoji user, I can assure you she was not actually referring to cherries.

Biles's admission comes amid the uptick in celebrities who, over the last few months, have used social media to speak up about the cosmetic procedures they've had done in the name of body transparency. Most notably, it was Kylie Jenner, who went viral earlier this summer for sharing the details behind her boob job in a TikTok comment, followed by her older sister Khloé Kardashian, who also opened up about the work she's had done via Instagram a few weeks later.

Feel however you want to about plastic surgery, but I'm personally a big fan of people doing what they want to their own bodies. Though she has yet to announce whether she is officially retiring from gymnastics, it seems Biles is truly enjoying life outside the gym for the first time, and I love to see it.
