Ever since we learned of The Flaming Lips' album cover of The Beatles 1967 Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, we've been buzzing with excitement — not least because the band's newfound comrade Miley Cyrus is one of the LP's many collaborators. Over the summer, we got a sneak peek of the band's rendition of "Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds," featuring Cyrus and Moby, and it whet our palate for a truly psychedelic undertaking.
The album, entitled "With a Little Help From My Fwends," drops October 28 and boasts a groovy guest line-up including Tegan and Sara, My Morning Jacket, Foxygen, and Phantogram. You can preview it here.
