Prince Harry Opens Up About Meghan Markle's First Royal Christmas

In addition to his royal duties, Prince Harry made time to step in as the guest editor for BBC Radio 4's Today program, where he interviewed former US President Barack Obama and his own father, Prince Charles.

At the end of the program, Harry took a turn as the interviewee and answered questions about his fiancée Meghan Markle and her first holiday with the royal family.

Meghan and Harry spent Christmas at Sandringham, along with the rest of his very famous family. According to Harry, Meghan had an "amazing time" and she "really enjoyed it and the family really loved having her there."

Harry said that he and Meghan had a great time with his brother, Prince William and wife Kate Middleton—and their kids, George and Charlotte.

Meghan's appearance at the royal Christmas festivities is historic—according to BBC News, it's the first time someone not yet married into the royal family has been invited to participate in Christmas celebrations.

That didn't stop Meghan from fitting in perfectly with the family though. "She's done an absolutely amazing job, she's getting in there and it's the family that I suppose she's never had," Harry said.
