Hello, magnolia warblers, and welcome back to another edition of This Week in Timothée Chalamet. I'm sorry to ever utter this but I grow weary of following Timmy right now. No tweets, no Instagrams, no sightings. I get that he’s off in Jordan filming Dune, and sure, I get annoyed when people are trying to text me about non-work-related things when I’m at the office, which is how I got the reputation of being “bad at texting.” (A reputation I refute, but please do not text me about it.)

But it’s gotten pretty sad out there in Timmy fandomland. I started having a crush on Joe Jonas again recently. I mean really, what is it? 2007? And I don’t even have a strong opinion about the electoral system or how bad people are at recycling that I want to mask in Timothée Chalamet fanfic! That’s how quiet it is, both on my newsfeed and in my heart!

I realize this doesn’t count as news but judging by the amount of people who agreed with this tweet, I am now gaslighting myself into believing that maybe 2018 was a dream, too. A beautiful dream where people talked about wanting to fuck a fish man and peaches became NSFW. If you ignore pretty much everything else about 2018, those two things really make them seem like halcyon days...

Dune will be two movies!

I guess I missed this and, to be totally fair, I haven’t actually seen it written up by anybody super reputable but I’ve heard that the rumor is that Dune will be broken up into at least two movies. According to Nerdist, director Denis Villeneuve spoke at a film festival in Quebec last month and said the following:

“Dune will probably take two years to make,” the director said. “The goal is to make two films, maybe more.”

Look, all I care about is that Oscar Isaac and Timothée Chalamet mouth-kiss in at least one of those films. You could make a thousand, I just want them to softly smooch on the lips just once. I don’t think I’m asking that much. *Checks earpiece.* What’s that? Oscar plays Timmy’s dad? Too bad, I stand by this request.

Ugh, fine.

Okay but this is the last one, alright? I mean it.
