In May of 2021, Ariana Grande quietly married real estate agent Dalton Gomez in a moving, intimate ceremony at home in Montecito. The two had been engaged since December. "forever n then some," Grande wrote on Instagram alongside photos of a gorgeous pearl and diamond engagement ring.
While Gomez has now, sensibly, made his Instagram account private, an LA Times link in his bio indicates the type of real estate he handles: the very, very expensive, multimillion dollar type. According to his work bio on the Aaron Kirman Group website, Gomez is "highly sought after for his extensive knowledge in the fields of significant architecture and luxury estates," and is "quickly becoming an industry titan."
Things between the couple are going very well: They even quarantined together, with Gomez making a few discreet appearances on Grande's Instagram. So what else do we know about the 25-year-old real estate agent?
Though he's now a real estate titan, he made Hollywood connections through dancing. Gomez's Instagram stories suggest he's typically hanging out with A-listers: An old post, screenshotted by TMZ, shows him posing with Miley Cyrus and a few other friendsperhaps this is how he and Ariana met? A source told E!, "They run in the same circle." The source continued, "He used to be a dancer and they have many mutual friends."
Unbeknown to us, Grande and Gomez began dating in January 2020. Grande remained tight-lipped about their fling because she didn't want to have another, super public, relationship following her whirlwind romance with Pete Davidson.
A source told People, "They have been hanging out for a couple of months." They continued, "Ariana doesn’t want to do another public relationship so she is trying to keep this one quiet, but she seems very happy with Dalton."
In late March of 2020, TMZ reported that the man Ariana Grande had been caught making out with at a bar was Dalton Gomez. According to TMZ, the two had been dating for "several months" at that point, sources said. Other publications independently confirmed the couple's relationship. Eagle eyed fans also noticed that Gomez was the man who appeared on Grande's Instagram story around the same time.
According to a source from People, "Ariana doesn’t want to do another public relationship so she is trying to keep this one quiet, but she seems very happy with Dalton."
Grande confirmed her relationship with Gomez in the music video for her and Justin Bieber's song "Stuck With U." The music video features a variety of couples and friends dancing and laughing to the song, with a special appearance by Grande, her dog, and Gomez. In the video, the two embrace.
When the coronavirus hit the U.S. last March, Grande followed Gomez back to Los Angeles to quarantine together. According to a People source, "It was getting tricky for them to see each other, so she decided to take her chance." The source added, "She purchased a house in the Hollywood Hills in June and never looked back. They are incredibly happy."
"Dalton is a great guy. He is very focused on work and low-key," said the insider. "He likes keeping his relationship with Ari private. They have been able to get to know each other in peace."

Hours before her 27th birthday last June, Grande posted a photoset on Instagram. Hidden in the photo dump was a selfie with Gomez—the first time they appeared together on Instagram—with the duo looking blissful.
After Grande's internet breaking engagement announcement in an Instagram post that read "forever n then some," the couple spent the holidays with Grande's family. The "Positions" singer shared images of her and Gomez embracing, together with some shots of friends and family. A merry Christmas, indeed!
