'365 Dni' Star Michele Morrone Has Many Secret Talents
And I'm not even talking about his abs!
The hottest man on your Netflix account right now? The one and only Michele Morrone. He's the 29-year-old from Melegnano, Italy who's currently steaming up your laptop screen in the problematic, very sexy Polish romance thriller 365 Dni (365 Days.) The movie tells the story of a Sicilian mobster named Massimo who kidnaps a Polish woman named Laura after seeing her in his dreams for the past couple of years. She's given one year to fall in love with him, hence the title. Ah, romance!
So while you were watching that boat scene or screaming in anger at that major cliffhanger, I put my journalism degree to use to find out all there is to know about the man who plays Massimo a.k.a Morrone. Ahead, here's everything you need to know about the Italian actor on the rise.
Morrone is a father to two sons.
Morrone has two sons with his ex-wife, Rouba Saadeh, a Lebanese fashion designer. Their sons are named Marcudo Morrone and Brado Morrone.
The pair split in 2018 after four years of marriage, but seem to be still friendly. The divorce was hard on Morrone and almost made him quit acting, according to an Instagram post:
"A year and a half ago I was about to leave everything, I didn't want to act anymore. I was in a severe state of depression after divorcing my wife. I found work as a gardener in a remote village of 1000 inhabitants because I had no more money in my pocket," Morrone wrote. "But life is strange, when you're down destiny puts the right train in front of you and if you're strong you can take it. Always believe in yourself... ALWAYS."
It looks like Morrone is single.
Yes, sound the alarm! Call your girlfriends! The man appears to be single...or he's just keeping the private part of his life private.
No, he's not dating his co-star Sieklucka, despite what you may think from that boat scene, but they are close friends. In a press interview for the movie, he said: "They were really deep, so if we didn't like each other and had that bond on set, it wasn't going to be realthe scenes. We were forced to be friends, but we became friends for real. I love Anna."
It seems true, though, especially after Sieklucka posted a photo with a mysterious man with the caption reading "Jedno. Private. I więcej nie będzie. Peace and love," translating to "One. Private. And there will be no more. Peace and love."
So those sex scenes between them that looked super real...weren't. “It seems like real because we are good actors,” Morrone said in an Instagram Live video per Entertainment Tonight. “It wasn’t real. I know that many people write me that, ‘Oh my god, it was real!’ But at the same time, it wasn’t real. That’s impossible.”
I do have to note that Morrone was spotted giving a nighttime kiss to Italian ballerina Elena D'Amario last April. But they haven't been spotted together in public since.
Morrone has talents beyond acting.
The man can also sing and paint! So, while you're picking your jaw off from the floor, let me explain. Morrone's album, Dark Room, came out this past Valentine's Day and was used all over in 365 Dni. "Watch Me Burn" plays during that one shower scene. "Dark Room" is used as a background song, and "Feel It" plays at the end of the movie. I also can't forget to mention the wonderfully titled "Hard for Me," which was the movie's opening song.
He's also really into painting abstract art, which works because if you look like he does, people will buy and support the art no matter how "abstract" it may be. See below.
