Bethenny Frankel has made a name for herself in the Big Apple as an author, reality TV star, and entrepreneur. (She recently launched a podcast called Just B with Bethenny Frankel, where she speaks with thought leaders and business gurus on every topic, from investing and parenting to relationships and food. On top of that, she's tackling the health world with Skinnygirl supplements, which are designed to help women of all ages address common health challenges.) Frankel's one-liner zings are also as iconic as the Empire State Building—cue one of her RHO taglines: "If you can't handle the truth, you can't handle me!"—and she always keeps it real. On the latest episode of Precious Metals for Marie Claire, Frankel shows off her spectacular jewelry collection.
The first thing you'll notice is that she's inside her ginormous closet, which contains the shoe wall of your (okay, my) dreams. But, right—the jewelry. Frankel starts off with saying that she loves collecting rare pieces and "doesn't want something someone else has." The tastemaker shows off her Van Cleef Arpel necklace that's "not the vintage style, but modern style" and is solid gold.
She then reveals the crème de la crème of watches: a few hard-to-come-by Rolexes, with names like the "Rolex Hulk" and "Rolex Daytona." She gives a shout-out to friend and jewelry designer Stephanie Gottlieb for a ring she always wears and never takes off. Finally, one of her treasured pieces is a diamond ring she bought herself because #girlboss. "Don't need no men for no ring—that's not true, men can buy me a ring too..." she adds. Agreed.
