What's your idea of a perfect guy? Tall, dark, and handsome? Extremely rich and talented? Super famous? Always down to fix the train of your designer gown? Knows when it's time for you to shine? If any of those characteristics are on your checklist, you're in good company. A-listers like Jennifer Lopez, Ciara, and Kristen Bell have found their perfect match in men that are all of those things and then some.

The combination of ridiculously good-looking people, an insane amount of wealth, top-notch outfits, and the combination of fairy-tale romance has us hooked. Sure, not all of Tinseltown's greatest romances end in happily ever after, but these couples, ahead, are proof good things happen to good people! Click through to see which celebrity husbands make the top of our list of the ultimate red carpet husbands. They're charming, extremely helpful with a wardrobe malfunction, aren't shy of PDA, know when it's time to release their inner Instagram boyfriend, and most importantly of all? They love their wives.

Who said chivalry is dead, people? Not me, for I am absolutely team, "Make knuckle kissing a normalized PDA action in 2020." "Meeting her and getting married wasn't life-changing, it was life-beginning," Keith Urban told CBS News, who married actress Nicole Kidman in 2006. "It was literally, like, 'OK, life starts.'"

    Adam Levine

When a Victoria Secret Angel and a Grammy-winning singer get together, we're obviously going to feel the sparks through our screens.

"She's a legend. She's THE baddest. In just a few years we have laughed and loved harder than most," Adam Levine wrote in a sweet birthday tribute to his wife, Behati Prinsloo. "I wake up every morning thankful that it wasn't all a dream. Here's to a thousand more years. I love you @behatiprinsloo with everything I got."

Nothing gets us more exciting than celebrity husbands acknowledging how gorgeous their wives look on the red carpet. George Clooney doesn't make hand gestures for just anyone!

"[I have] someone who I can talk to about anything, and someone who I care more about than I've cared about anything," he said on CBS This Morning about his wife Amal. "It's nice."

Anyone who supports strong women is a keeper in my book, so obviously we have to talk about Gucci Mane and Keyshia Ka'oir Davis, who have been together since 2017. In an interview with The Cut, beauty mogul Ka'oir spoke out on why they pair work so well together.

"Gucci is an amazing husband because he supports me," said Ka'oir. "A lot of men are intimidated by successful women. Not him, though. He wants me to shine. He wants me to be successful."

Nothing makes me smile more than Instagram boyfriends out in the wild, and when your partner is Olivia Wilde, you have to make a note. Sure, this couple hasn't tied the knot yet, but they're just so cute!

On working with Jason for Booksmart, Wilde, who directed the film, told  Entertainment Tonight, "His entire relationship with me has been one long audition for Booksmart and he nailed it."

    Matt Damon

Matt Damon and wife Luciana Barroso met by a chance encounter after a movie he was filming was moved from Hawaii to Miami. On one night off, he was asked by some friends to go out for some beers at a bar.

"I saw her across the room, and it was like there was a beam of light shining down on hershe was radiating joy," he said to METRO on the first time he saw Luciana. "I was like, I have to talk to this person."

    Offset

    Offset

Okay, so Offset and Cardi B haven't had the most stable relationship, but I'll root for them forever and ever. I mean a leg grabbing kiss? Who can top this!

This past Mother's Day, the Migos rapper left a cute message for Cardi B on Instagram writing, "Happy Mother's Day since I met you it's been love thank you for my beautiful daughter she smart with attitude like you and talented like us both my kids and you help me become a better guy all around. Thank You WIFE !!!!"

    Alec Baldwin

    Alec Baldwin

Getting picked up by your husband on the red carpet to avoid walking in heels? The ultimate Hollywood couple's goals. Alec and Hilaria weren't always this touchy.

On The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Hilaria spilled the beans that, for six weeks, Alec would only shake her hand at the end of the date. "I didn't want you to think that I just wanted to have sex with you!" Alec explained. Hilaria hilariously responded back, "Hey, look, it worked!"

    Ryan Reynolds

    Ryan Reynolds

Okay, so we're obsessed with Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively for numerous reasons, but the little inside jokes they share with each other on the red carpet are top-tier. On The Late Show with David Letterman Reynolds spoke about becoming parents to daughter James with Lively.

"I'm not one for vomiting declarations of sentiment out across the airwaves, but when we had that baby, I fell more in love with my wife than I'd ever been in my entire life. I couldn't even believe it."

    Hugh Jackman

    Hugh Jackman

After 23 years of marriage, Hugh Jackman and his wife Deborra-Lee Furness have the cutest routine.

"Even at the Oscars, I walk out, I put my hand on my heart and I always look to Deb in the audience," he told People of his ritual."Straight afterwards, I will not see anybody in my dressing room until Deb's been in. Because that is my foundation, that is the rock, that is the foundation of our family, and therefore my life."

    Will Smith

    Will Smith

Quite possibly the blueprint for supportive red carpet husbands, Will Smith always makes sure that his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, is the center of attention. Why? Because they're not just husband and wife—they're partners.

"Redefining my marriage as a life partnership was the necessity of autonomy for myself and for Will," Pinkett Smith explained on a recent episode of her Emmy-nominated Facebook series Red Table Talk. "And finding the core of us that wanted to be together outside of the constraints of the traditional ideas of marriage because they weren't working for us."

    Prince Harry

    Prince Harry

Prince Harry knows a thing or two about being in the public eye, and he's done everything in his power to make sure that Meghan Markle is as protected from the pitfalls of the spotlight as he possibly can. That includes joining her on her scheduled official events (like her appearance on the premiere of The Lion King), and even defending her from racist and sexist attacks from the press.

    John Legend

    John Legend

What do you do when your wife is one of the most beloved people on the internet? You let her shine, of course—even if you yourself are a pretty big deal. John Legend may be an EGOT winner, but he knows when to step back and let Chrissy Teigen have her time in the limelight.

    Justin Timberlake

    Justin Timberlake

"Mirrors," the second single on Justin Timberlake's third studio album The 20/20 Experience, is a love song about the singer's wife, Jessica Biel. And the hit song's touching lyrics just barely scratch the surface of what Timberlake feels for his soulmate. In his 2018 book Hindsight: And All the Things I Can’t See in Front of Me, Timberlake raved about Biel.

"We’ve had a lot of unforgettable times. She’s become a huge influence on my life, and I have such admiration for her, especially seeing her as a mother now. But I had admiration for her before. She’s a very good writer. She’s a poet. She’s a tremendous actor. She’s funny. Very funny. And she’s one of the most patient people I’ve ever met."

    Sterling K. Brown

    Sterling K. Brown

You know how people say that the perfect man doesn't exist? Well, scratch that. He does exist, and his name is Sterling K. Brown. The This Is Us actor is as kind, loving, appreciative, and considerate of his real-life wife, Ryan Michelle Bathe, as his TV character Randall Pearson is of his wife, Beth. We didn't think it was possible, but we might be even more in love with him than ever before.

    President Barack Obama

    President Barack Obama

Our 44th president may be one of the most popular politicians of all time, but if you ask Barack Obama, he wouldn't be the man he is without the love and backing of his wife, Michelle. After years of the FLOTUS having his back, the former president has taken on what might be his most important executive title yet: President of the Michelle Obama fan club.

    John Krasinski

    John Krasinski

Aside from her two children Violet and Hazel, no one loves Emily Blunt more than her husband, John Krasinski. The actor, known for his role as Jim Halpert in The Office, was a long-time fan of Blunt even before they even went on their first date. "I was full stalker-status," Krasinski said of his love for his wife on The Graham Norton Show in 2018, admitting that he'd seen her breakout film The Devil Wears Prada more than 72 times! That's dedication, people.

    Russell Wilson

    Russell Wilson

When Ciara was a single mother raising her son Future Zahir, she prayed a very specific type of prayer for the next man that would walk into her life. Her heavenly request included the following characteristics: A man who was God-fearing, a man who loved kids, a man who was worldly, and a man who would help her level up. She met Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson in 2015, and he checked every single box, so they got married a year later.

On a recent episode of Jada Pinkett-Smith's Red Table Talk, the singer couldn't help but gush about the love of her life. “He was consistent,” she said of Wilson. “That consistency is so crucial. He was like open arms, I got you. Whenever he would think of me, he would always think about my son. To love me is to love my son. We come together. It’s dope. It’s a different level of love.”

    Julius Tennon

Speaking of answered prayers, Viola Davis also met her soulmate, Julius Tennon, after sending up a special request.

"I was the loneliest woman in the world," Davis explained to Page Six. "And someone said, ‘You should just pray for a husband.’ I said I wanted a big black man from the South who looked like a football player, who already had children, who maybe had been married before...3 1/2 weeks later, I met my husband.”

Since then, Davis says her life has improved exponentially. "Anxiety went away, fear went away—he just made my life better."

    Kanye West

    Kanye West

Say what you want about the Wests, but Kim and Kanye really do get each other. Kim supports Kanye's foray into the high fashion world as well as his controversial Twitter rants, and Kanye supports Kim in, well, pretty much everything. The couple's appearance at the Met Gala was a good example; Kanye dressed down in an all black casual outfit so Kim could have a moment on the pink carpet in her custom Thierry Mugler dress. What can we say? He sees the vision. Plus, she's the only one who can get him to crack an actual smile these days, so that's saying something!

    Chris Hemsworth

    Chris Hemsworth

After securing the role of Thor—the Marvel Cinematic Universe's head heartthrob—many would consider Chris Hemsworth one of the luckiest men in Hollywood, but he actually won the lottery when he married his wife and constant support system, Elsa Pataky. And the feeling is definitely mutual; the Tidelands actress has nothing but praise for Hemsworth.

Despite being one of the busiest actors in the industry, he always makes time for his family. "He was always trying to be the best dad and has never failed to make me feel like his family is the most important thing to him," Pataky shared with ELLE Australia in 2018. "And [going through that] is how we've become so strong together."

    Denzel Washington

    Denzel Washington

Hollywood icon Denzel Washington may have once been crowned The Sexiest Man Alive (1996), but he's only got eyes for his wife of almost 36 years, Pauletta. Though he may be the more famous of the power couple, Washington credits his success solely to the unwavering support of his wife. "I would not be alive without Pauletta Washington,” the John Q. actor said as he accepted the American Film Institute’s life achievement award. “I wouldn’t survive.” Anyone else crying?

    Dax Shepherd

    Dax Shepherd

Dax Shepherd was a confirmed bachelor before he met Kristen Bell; he didn't believe in marriage and wasn't at all interested in ever settling down. However, upon realizing just how much taking that step meant to the Veronica Mars actress and how much he wanted to make her happy, Shepherd decided to take the leap after all.

He opened up about his change of heart in a joint interview with Bell for People: "Ultimately, I was like, Well, I’m doing it because my partner wants that,” he shared. “Forget the tradition or history of marriage as a concept, you knowing I was doing something that I didn’t want to do because I loved you was a big sign for you.”

    Did someone say #husbandgoals?

    Alexis Ohanian

    Alexis Ohanian

People may have been surprised when Serena Williams tied the knot with tech millionaire Alexis Ohanian in 2017 (her most famous exes include Common and Drake), but looking at the two of them now, it all make sense. Ohanian is his wife's biggest fan, never failing to show up at any of her tennis matches, defending her from gross internet trolls, and being the world's best dad to their daughter, Alexis Olympia.

    Tom Hanks

    Tom Hanks

Rita Wilson was awarded with her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in March 2019, and her husband (and number one fan!), Tom Hanks, gave her a positively glowing introduction. "The lesson here is that Rita Wilson knows what she is doing. Her instincts are wicked sharp,” Hanks added. “And it’s more than just stealing movies and rising up in the arcs of television shows and performing shows on Broadway, which she has done twice…Rita Wilson has pitch-perfect taste that [equals] her formidable talents.”

Coming from an actor who has starred in some of the most iconic films in Hollywood, that's high praise. But Hanks' support is nothing out of the ordinary, according to Wilson. When she was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015, Hanks was with her every step of the way. “[Tom and I] watched movies, we watched great documentaries, we ate good food and we did our best to maintain our spirit and be thankful," she told Sunday People.

    Courtney B. Vance

    Courtney B. Vance

How have Angela Bassett and Courtney B. Vance maintained their marriage over the last two decades? If you ask Vance, the secret is always being on-call for his wife. "'Yes, dear. How can I help? What do you need me to do?’” the Emmy-winner joked with Us Weekly.

Besides his obvious sense of humor, Bassett loves that Vance has always been there for her no matter what. "All you have to do is tell him to step in and he shows up for you,” said Bassett of her husband. “Not just for me, but for any of his friends, whoever he loves or whatever mentee may reach out to him. He steps up and steps in for you.” Consistency—it matters!

    David Beckham

    David Beckham

If anything or anyone can bring a smile to Victoria Beckham's face (or at least make her consider smiling), it would probably be her husband, David Beckham. The British icons, who have been married for 20 years now, have been through their fair share of ups and downs, but Posh Spice is more than happy with where they are now. Becks has found his rhythm as a family man now that he's retired from playing soccer in order to help her focus on her dreams post-Spice Girls.

"David is such a great husband, such a great dad and the most incredible business partner that anybody could ever want. He really supports me in what I do," the fashion designer praised her other half in a sit-down with ET.

    Jay-Z

    Jay-Z

As a rapper, business mogul, and activist, Jay-Z sure has accomplished a lot in his life—you can add "marrying Beyoncé" to the top of that list. When the two first met in 1999, Jay-Z was the more successful of the duo, having already released four well-received studio albums and solidifying himself as a name to know in the rap game. As Beyoncé's career picked up (first as the lead singer of Destiny's Child then as a solo artist), the Knowles-Carters became some of the richest artists in the music game, earning more than a billion dollars combined. Talk about teamwork.

Today, Jay-Z is the foremost member of the Beyhive, happily taking care of their three beautiful children and serving as Beyoncé's resident Instagram photographer.

    Mark Consuelos

    Mark Consuelos

Kelly Ripa is one of the hardest-working women in showbiz, and her husband Mark Consuelos is thrilled by it, so much so that's he always looking for ways them to work together. Aside from their three kids, Michael, Lola, and Joaquin, the couple's other collaborations include their production company Milojo (which produced the Emmy-nominated documentary The Streak), numerous guest hostings on Ripa's show Live! with Kelly and Ryan, and sharing the screen on The CW's Riverdale.

"I was drawn to Mark because he was positively an alpha male, and I didn't think I would be drawn to that. But I just worship him. He makes me feel very safe," Ripa gushed to ELLE in 2013. "I actually call him Desi, because the thing about Desi was that as much attention as Lucy got, Desi was always in charge."

    Dwyane Wade

    Dwyane Wade

Gabrielle Union wasn't sure about dating NBA star Dwyane Wade when she first met him in 2007; as an athlete with children who was going through a messy divorce, the basketball star wasn't exactly her idea of Prince Charming. But today, Union has no regrets—he's made her the happiest woman in the world. Along with a healthy marriage and a thriving acting career, Union is now the mother to a sassy baby girl named Kaavia James, finally fulfilling her dream of being a mother.

Even after nearly five years of marriage, Wade can't get over the good fortune that Union has brought into his life. "Darling, you are amazing, you look incredible in this dress," he shouted out his wife while accepting his  Best Moment Award at the 2019 ESPYS. "I cannot wait ’til five years from now ’til I get a chance to marry you again."

    Jason Momoa

    Jason Momoa

Not everyone gets to marry their childhood crush, but then again, not everyone is Jason Momoa. The Game of Thrones actor harbored a longtime love for Lisa Bonet after first seeing her on The Cosby Show, and the couple connected instantly after a chance meet-cute at an L.A. jazz club in 2005. Fourteen years and two children later, Momoa still feels like the luckiest man in the world. So. Cute.

    Kevin Bacon

    Kevin Bacon

Kyra Sedgwick and Kevin Bacon have been married for more than 30 years (which, in Hollywood, is basically a million years), and their love for each other is a strong as it was as the day they first said "I do." On their 30th anniversary, Bacon took to Twitter to share a sweet video of the two performing a heartfelt duet of the popular Bee Gees song "To Be Loved by Somebody."

"30 years! I can’t believe it," Bacon captioned the clip. "@kyrasedgwick is the woman of my dreams and the music in my life."

    Swizz Beats

    Swizz Beats

The road to love for Swizz Beats and Alicia Keys wasn't always a smooth ride, but looking back, Swizz says it's been totally worth it. The music royals met when they were just teenagers (but Keys admittedly was not feeling the music producer back then), connected professionally, then romantically years later when their respective careers were solidified.

"I'm a better man. I think that having love in your life, it just has that effect," Swizz told MTV of the impact of his marriage on his life. "Love is a word that's powerful but the feeling is even stronger."

    Joe Manganiello

    Joe Manganiello

Just when you thought Joe Manganiello couldn't get any dreamier, he married fellow Hollywood hottie Sofia Vergara in November 2015, upgrading his status from sexy bachelor to sexy husband. But it's not only his obvious good looks that make him a dream man—it's also his unconditional love for his wife that has us swooning.

"My life is great because I really like my wife. I like talking to her. I like goofing around with her. We f--king laugh all day long every day," he told Men's Health. "My favorite thing in the world is making my wife laugh so much she cries. It's the best."

    Nick Jonas

    Nick Jonas

Did you know that Nick Jonas was ready to propose to Priyanka Chopra after their third date? He fell head over heels with the actress (and former Miss World) almost on-sight and has been lovestruck ever since. The couple, who wed in a lavish ceremony that spanned the course of three days in 2018, may have had a whirlwind courtship, but for Jonas, it's fate.

In a joint interview with Vogue, he confessed that he felt like he and Chopra are already on their third or fourth lifetime together (Hindu weddings have the bridge and groom walk around a consecrated fire seven times, each time representing the seven lifetimes they'll share), and even though this one has just begun, he wants "seven more."

    Joe Jonas

    Joe Jonas

Joe Jonas caught on to this husband thing pretty quickly, and from the looks of it, he's doing a great job. Even before getting hitched to Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner last summer, he has been by her side as often as possible, supporting her at the major moments in her life. They just gave birth to their first child together.

Oh, and Jonas Brothers stans? You can thank the Queen of the North for helping the boys get back together; Turner's close family bond inspired her then-boyfriend to reconnect with his siblings post-JoBro breakup. "It encouraged me to see she had such a great relationship with her brothers,” he said in the Jonas Brothers' 2019 Harper's Bazaar cover story. “That was really a big thing for me to be able to look at, and say, ‘I gotta get my sh-t together.’”

    Steph Curry

    Steph Curry

Want to make Steph Curry's blood run hot? Defeat him in the NBA championships (if you can) or say something about his wife, Ayesha. The Golden State Warriors point guard is fiercely protective of his family, but especially of Ayesha. When Ayesha was criticized for her discussion of "groupies" on an episode of the Red Table Talk, her husband immediately came to her defense, clapping back without hesitation.

"Proud of you for being authentic and putting yourself out there not being afraid of potential bulls#*# and nonsense that could and did come at you,” Curry wrote in his Instagram story days after the controversy. “Way more positive than negative with all of this. Keep being you. I love you.”

    Stedman Graham

    Stedman Graham

While he isn't technically her husband, Stedman Graham has been by Oprah Winfrey's side for as long as we can remember. His long-term relationship with the media mogul isn't exactly traditional (the two are committed to each other in what they call a "spiritual union"), but Graham's dedication to his lady is the stuff that real relationship goals are made of.

"The thing about our relationship is I want the best for her. So, I'm dedicated to her happiness, and so, that's great for her," Graham revealed on a episode of The Ellen Show. "I want her to be the best she can possibly be, and she's done a pretty good job of doing that."

    Alex Rodriguez

    Alex Rodriguez

Alex Rodriguez had always been a fan of Jennifer Lopez, so when they finally went on their first date in 2016, he felt lucky to just be in the room with her.

"It would be incredibly productive for me to sit with one of the smartest, greatest women in the world," Rodriguez recalled in his 2017 cover story with Lopez for Vanity Fair. "Especially for a guy like me who is coming through tough times, rehabbing himself, re-establishing himself to folks out there. I thought it would be a win-win no matter what.”

Well, the date was more than a win-win—it was a homerun! Rodriguez and J.Lo hit it off, making their relationship public just months later. Now, the couple is officially engaged, and he's still counting himself the luckiest guy in the room.

    Peter Hermann

    Peter Hermann

In what could be the coolest IRL TV crossover ever, Law Order: SVU star Mariska Hargitay is married to Younger's Peter Hermann, and the couple is absolutely perfect together. While Hargitay instantly felt the connection, Hermann's feelings took a little more time to develop, but his realization that she was the one was everything.

"It was Mariska’s birthday, her 40th birthday,” Hermann shared with People. “And I actually saw Mariska with all of the people that she loved around her. It was like seeing this person who was now in the soil, that she was just dying to be planted in it. Right? Which was this abundance of people and this abundance of love and I thought, ‘I want to be part of that soil.’"

Most recently, she put her cultural savvy to work as a culture critic for R29 Unbothered, covering everything from politics to social media thirst to the reverberations of colorism across the African diaspora.
