Margot Robbie isn’t just playing Barbie in this month’s likely soon-to-be blockbuster film—she is becoming Barbie. Robbie is on a global press tour right now promoting the movie ahead of its release on July 20 and has channeled the iconic doll at nearly every turn—typically in Barbie’s signature pink hue. Per Page Six, Robbie and her stylist Andrew Mukamal have even gone so far as to commission custom designer outfits based on ones made famous by the figurine herself.

At another photocall in London, Robbie brought Vivienne Westwood back out, this time in a peachy-pink look with an orange and yellow rose floral print. The look included a cropped jacket with puffy sleeves, a peplum silhouette, furry pink platform pumps, and a furry pink box handbag (also by Vivienne Westwood), and will likely be the last look we see from Robbie on her Barbie press tour—this photocall happened before the announcement of the SAG-AFTRA strike, which will likely (break our hearts and) end the incredible run of looks Robbie has served us thus far, as actors aren’t promoting their work as part of the strike. It was fun while it lasted…

After the London premiere came the London photocall, where Robbie swapped her pink satin gown for a red mini dress with a corseted back. For the event at the London Eye, Robbie opted for designer Dilara Findikoglu for her look.

Can you say regal? Robbie was back in her signature pink and stunning in Vivienne Westwood couture, paying homage to a famous Barbie silhouette, the “Enchanted Evening” doll. First produced in the 1960s, this vintage Barbie look was replicated almost exactly by Robbie, who wore the blush pink satin dress with a fuzzy white stole. To accessorize, Robbie chose ivory opera gloves, clear heels, and a pearl choker for the film’s London premiere at Cineworld Leicester Square.

For the film’s L.A. premiere, Robbie went from the 1990s to the 1960s in a sparkly black dress and gloves. The look—custom Schiaparelli Haute Couture designed by creative director Daniel Roseberry—was a stark departure from the pink explosion that has been the norm on this press tour, and the black sequin gown was an exact replica of the 1960s Barbie’s Solo in the Spotlight outfit, People reports. Robbie paired the dress with black opera gloves and black Manolo Blahnik peep-toe mules.

Continuing the press tour across Mexico—and the 1990s theme—Robbie posed at a photo call at the Four Seasons Hotel in Mexico City in a look inspired by “Totally Hair” Barbie, People reports. Her crimped hair matched the doll from the 1990s’ look perfectly, and her abstract printed Emilio Pucci dress, hot pink Chanel embellished earrings, Chanel bag, and Manolo Blahnik pumps helped her not break character in the slightest.

Robbie stepped out on the pink carpet at Plaza Parque Toreo in Juarez, Mexico wearing a look inspired by 1992’s Earring Magic Barbie. The hot pink look featured a sheer Balmain minidress cinched with a chainlink star belt, pink Manolo Blahnik heels, and matching star earrings.

On July 3, Robbie took part in a press conference in Seoul wearing a custom bedazzled cropped jacket, a one-shouldered bra top, and a miniskirt. Her inspiration? 1964’s Sparkling Pink Barbie. “Even her matching pillbox hat nodded to the doll’s original outfit,” Page Six reports.

The night before, Robbie channeled 1985’s Day-to-Night Barbie at the film’s premiere. She wore two looks: For the red carpet, she wore a loud pink Atelier Versace skirt suit accessorized with a cell phone-shaped Judith Leiber Couture clutch. Later, she changed into a full-skirted party dress with an embellished bustier-style bodice.

At a party hosted by Vogue Australia at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Sydney, Robbie wore a vintage Versace mini made from slinky metal mesh. Another famous blonde wore it first—Claudia Schiffer, when the look debuted on Versace’s fall 1994 runway.

Earlier in the day, Robbie attended a fan event at Westfield Sydney in another vintage Versace look. This time it was a cropped turtleneck sweater and metallic miniskirt from the same 1994 collection, which she styled with purple socks and white high-heeled Versace loafers.

In a rare break from the pink theme, Robbie took us all the way back to 1959 and the strapless black and white swimsuit worn by the first-ever Barbie. For the event at Bondi Icebergs, Robbie chose a bespoke Herve Léger bodycon dress, white cat-eye sunglasses from Jacques Marie Mage, and hoop earrings by Spinelli Kilcollin.

At the L.A. press junket and photo call at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills, Robbie brought out a Valentino pink polka dot minidress, which she styled with a bright yellow quilted bag and beaded bracelet. And is it really Barbie without her convertible?
