Watch This Family's Epic Prince Tribute with 10,000 Purple Christmas Lights

Nothing compares 2 yule at this Minnesota home. (Get it?) For their annual light display, Mike Staudt and his family decorated their house just down the street from Prince's Paisley Park studio with 10,000 purple lights to honor the memory of the Purple One.

"Prince's passing meant so much to our community that we decided to do a short dedication during the intermission of our Christmas light show to honor him," Staudt told the Star Tribune. "We've received compliments on this part of our show and a few people have even mentioned it made them teary-eyed."

The entire show—which also includes the Star Wars theme and a Snoop Dogg Christmas song—lasts 14 minutes with the "Purple Rain" tribute right in the middle.

And the Staudts aren't the only ones honoring Prince this year with an epic light show. Another family also included a Prince medley in their display in Park Ridge, Illinois.
