Nicki Minaj Won't Settle Down Until She Makes $500 Million

Watch out, Sheryl Sandberg: Nicki Minaj is reaching workplace hero status.

The rapper talked about her plans for world domination in her cover story for Dazed magazine. She plans on someday becoming a mother and a wife, but only after she reaches one goal:

"I have to make 500 million dollars first. That figure has been in my brain for a long time. I want to be the female who earned the same amount of money that the Jay Zs and the Puffys were able to earn. I feel like when I reach my 500-million-dollar goal, then no other woman in rap will ever feel like they can't do what these men have done."

Minaj is well on her way, having sold five million albums worldwide and a single, "Super Bass," go platinum eight times over. Those impressive figures, plus basically taking over the retail world, helped her make $29 million last year, placing her fourth in Forbes' list of highest-paid hip-hop artists. Ahead of her? Puffy and Jay Z, plus headphone mogul Dr. Dre, and all three are more than 10 years older than her. The old guard had better watch out for Nicki.
