When blogs called her out, Amethyst took offense and returned fire, putting 5.53 million people off their second lunches in the process.

Then she came back and dispensed some heartfelt friendship wisdom.

Remember when she left Twitter in a huff and her management took over? Those were the days.

Update, 5/13: The "Pretty Girls" music video has dropped and it's out of this world, to say the least. There's Brit's throwback dance routines, the unapologetically '80s wardrobe, and lots o' hair crimping. Oh and an alien abduction, because of course. Enjoy!

Update, 5/4: The wait is over! Well, sort of. While the music video is still under wraps, the duo's song has been unveiled and it's a girls-rule-boys-drool jam that brings us back to our schoolyard days.

The lyrics beg the ever-pertinent question: Are men from Mars? Plus, Spears' hook on the chorus is reminiscent of her sound from the early aughts, while the song's infectious beat is comparable to that of Azalea's "Fancy," which was totally the unofficial song of last summer.

According to various reports, Spears and Azalea are scheduled to perform the song live at the Billboard Music Awards on May 17 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Original Post, 4/10: Britney Spears and Iggy Azalea are teaming up, and get in, loser, they're going '80s. Yesterday, the ladies began filming their music video for their new single, "Pretty Girls," and if the candid snaps below are any indication, it promises a serious visual party of what the more-is-more decade had in spades: crimped hair, acid wash denim, and neon jewelry.

Filmed in California's Studio City, the two appear to go rogue, cruising around town in a bright orange jeep. In an Instagram post, Spears captioned a picture with emojis and what we can only assume are the song's lyrics: "Girls roll up. Windows roll down. Eyes on us. Jaws on the ground." Sounds about right.
