The Beyhive Stings Carlos Santana After He Claims Beyoncé Isn't a Good Singer

For reasons that have yet to be explained, Carlos Santana felt the need to weigh in on Adele winning Album of the Year over Beyoncé at the Grammy Awards, and had this to say:

"I think Adele won because she can sing," Santana mused in a recent interview. "She doesn't bring all the dancers and props, she can just stand there. And she just stood there and sang the song and that's it, and this is why she wins. With all respect to our sister Beyoncé, Beyoncé is very beautiful to look at it's just more like modeling kind of music—music to model a dress. She's not a singer, with all respect to her."

First of all, Beyoncé can definitely sing. Second of all, Santana just poked the BeyHive and they are *not* happy. To wit:

Naturally, in an effort to save himself from the internet, Santana issued an explanation via Facebook.

"My intent was to congratulate Adele on her amazing night at the Grammies," he wrote. "I have the utmost respect for her as an artist and a person,. She deserves all the accolades that come her way. I wish Beyoncé and her family all the best."
