We've all been there. The 5 p.m. Sunday shudder that comes with knowing you have a full week of work ahead of you and you're leaving the weekend behind. Whatever you call it—Sunday blues, Sunday scaries, straight-up depression—78 percent of adults feel it. Here, how to beat it.

1. Reverse Your Saturday/Sunday

Ah, Sunday evening. When you try to cram a full weekend of errands/to-dos into about two hours. Avoid the woe and switch your Sunday and Saturday routines—run the bulk of your errands, do the cleaning and laundry, and prep your meals on Saturday, then make some fun or relaxing plans for Sunday. You'll feel better heading into Monday, guaranteed.

2. Avoid Monday Dread by Not Making Your Monday Dreadful

Don't make Mondays worse than they have to be. Translation? If you can avoid it, skip scheduling Monday a.m. meetings. Save yourself the heartache.

3. Get Out of the House

A Netflix binge is great and all, but sometimes it can feel like a countdown to impending doom. Get outside, go for a walk, do some yoga, enjoy a picnic lunch with friends, or do some window shopping to get out of the Sunday funk.
