Lesley-Ann Brandt's beautiful home library is brimming with poetry books, art books, and history books alike, as seen in Marie Claire’s latest episode of Shelf Portrait, in which celebrities, influencers, and famous bookworms show off their personal libraries.
In the video, the Lucifer actress makes it clear she's a fan of poetry, especially Amanda Gorman's The Hill We Climb and Cleo Wade's Where to Begin. Brandt also loves literature that pays homage to her South African roots from Richard Rive's 'Buckingham Palace,' District Six to Mami Wata and Selema Masekela's Afrosurf. And she also takes a moment in the tour to rave over reads like Toni Morrison's The Measure of Our Lives (Brandt read it when she moved to Los Angeles) and Brit Bennett's The Vanishing Half.
