Katie Thurston's 'Bachelorette' Cast: Every Detail We Know

Katie Thurston's Bachelorette season comes at a difficult time for the Bachelor franchise. What should have been a breath of fresh air for the Bachelor-verse—the casting of Matt James as the first Black Bachelor—went up in smoke at the beginning of 2021, when Matt's season was marred by bullying and racism. Longtime host Chris Harrison attempted to defend said racism and was ejected from the franchise, leaving Katie's upcoming season the most uncertain yet. But the lead's refreshing candor and sex positivity, in addition to an intriguing slate of contestants and two charismatic hosts, has made Katie's season a rare win for the franchise. The below is a full list of Katie's original contestants, with her final four up top (if you want full spoilers, check out our guide to everything that happens, including Katie's top four and eventual winner). And Katie's season might not be the last you see of these men—as we've marked below, several of the below show up on Bachelor in Paradise this year.

Greg Grippo, 27

One of two carryover contestants from Clare/Tayshia's season (not including Moynes), Grippo is from Edison, NJ, and (spoiler alert!!) got Thurston's first impression rose. So he's absolutely one to watch. He went to St. Michael's College, where his attractiveness was noted thanks to an anonymous, unofficial school Twitter (lol).

If you're thinking Hang on, I've seen that guy before, it's because Moynes was a major player in the last season of the Bachelorette, competing for both Clare Crawley and Tayshia Adams's hearts. Moynes wasn't in the initial ABC lineup of Katie's men, but joins the show mid-season.

This single dad of a son, James (per Instagram), lives in Akron, OH. His wife Laura, who passed away in 2019 of breast cancer, spurred Allio to create The L4 Project. He's also a business founder.

Brennan's from Columbia, IL, and is a musician (according to Reality Steve, this is him, which would mean he now lives in Nashville. Just like Jed Wyatt...).

Clancy hails from Walnut, CA. It looks like he was a swimmer at UC San Diego and is an impressive 6'4". He's now an account exec at Health IQ.

Thanks to Instagram, we know that Bonsall lives in San Diego (he's from New York, NY). It looks like he works for Paycor after having gone to State University of New York College at Cortland.
