"When I'm in Miami, the Latinx community is so visible. It really helps me feel like all of Latin culture is being celebrated, and I feel at home," shares Samuel Schultz, Marie Claire's head of video and a first-generation Panamanian American. Samuel stars in our Genesis Miami Art Week campaign, taking viewers on a journey through Miami's vibrant streets while using the Genesis GV80 as his mobile production studio. "Miami's culture and aesthetic [are] a constant source of inspiration for me—the palm treelined streets, the Art Deco style, the amazing energy of the city. It's such a privilege to explore places like this and find beauty in the world around me."

For Schultz, the Genesis GV80 plays a crucial role in his creative process, as it provides the perfect environment to unwind before a shoot. "In my world, I have to be on. I have to be sharp and focused," he explains. "My drive to a shoot is the moment I unwind, and being in the Genesis GV80 is really my opportunity to enter that state of calm." The GV80's innovative features—like the mood curator, which lets drivers adjust the lighting and sound—are essential to him. "It's those little touches that make such a difference when you're deep in the creative process." Every inch of the car exudes luxury, with spacious storage for his equipment, a design built for comfort and efficiency, and a gorgeous exterior to ensure he arrives at his destinations in style.

"Inspiration can come in many ways," Schultz states. "There's something about being on the road, taking in the world around you, that sparks ideas." As a video artist, he sees his work as a way to connect people. "It's about showing what makes us unique while finding the common thread that connects us all." The Genesis GV80 embodies this perspective, serving as an instrument for drivers like Schultz to maximize their creativity. Watch the full video above in Super 8mm film to experience how Schultz celebrates his identity and creativity, and see why the Genesis GV80 is a standout in the art scene.
