We've got good news and bad news, so we'll start with the latter.
If a leaked tracklist is to be believed, Anti, Rihanna's hotly-(anti)cipated new album—yes, the one that's caused many a sleepless night—is worth its weight in gold. Not only does it boast 23 tracks, but it's got a slew of major collaborators including Travis Scott, Azealia Banks, J. Cole, and, wait for it, Drake.
Oh man, oh man 🙏 .
In addition to the promise of a slew of new jams amongst its 77:77 minute runtime (because Rihanna minutes defy the laws of time, of course), there are the four tracks that have kept us alive over the past Anti-less year: "FourFiveSeconds" with Kanye West and Paul McCartney, "Bitch Better Have My Money," "American Oxygen," and the interlude she released in April to ring in 4/20 "James Joint."
Personally, we're champing at the bit for her and Drizzy's new joint "1988" because 1) She recently got the year inked on her ankle and 2) It's rumored that RiRi and Young Papi are set to begin shooting a music video together.
The bad, nay DEVASTATING news? We're still completely in the dark about when Anti is going to be unleashed. According to Urban Islandz who published the tracklist, a source close to RiRi says it's supposed to drop before the end of January. However, their screengrab displays February 12, 2016 as the release date. To which we say, enough with this madness already...
