The First Promo for the 'Dirty Dancing' Remake Is Here
So. Many. Mixed. Emotions.
Dirty Dancing fans, get ready to feel some type of way—the very first promo for ABC's three-hour remake just premiered.
Released by People, the first trailer shows Abigail Breslin in action as Baby Houseman, who—just like in the beloved 1987 original—falls in love with roguish dance instructor Johnny Castle, who's played by Colt Prattes. The cast of the remake also includes Debra Messing, Nicole Scherzinger, Sarah Hyland, Billy Dee Williams, and Katey Sagal.
Given its three-hour running time, the remake will apparently delve more into what happens to Baby and Johnny after the summer (so here for this), the relationship between Baby's parents, and the storyline of Baby's older sister Lisa.
Dirty Dancing premieres on ABC May 24.
