Spoilers for all of Love Is Blind season 8 and episodes 1-6 of Perfect Match season 3 ahead. After five years of pop-cultural dominance, Love Is Blind still finds ways to go against fan expectations. The first six episodes of season 8 premiered on Netflix on Valentine's Day 2025, introducing viewers to the Minneapolis-based cast. While the show's largest cast ever provides several different strands of pod drama, a significant chunk of time was spent on the love life of Madison Errichiello, a 28-year-old artist and instant standout who ended the pods...not engaged?!

After the significant buzz around season 7's Leo and Brittany saga, Love Is Blind seems to have gotten more comfortable dedicating airtime to cast members who don't even make it to the post-pod honeymoon, let alone the altar. Now that still-single Madison has returned to Netflix for Perfect Match season 3, fans have questions about the influencer, including her romantic history and what she's been up to between seasons. Read on for everything to know about Madison from Perfect Match season 3.

On Love Is Blind, Madison opens up about her childhood growing up with parents living with addiction. Her parents had her when they were teenagers, and her stepfather died of an overdose when she was in eighth grade. Madison says that she has "a lot of generational curses [she's] trying to break," and that she wants to be a source of support for her brother and sister.

In a February 25th TikTok post, Madison responded to criticism she has received online, claiming that she's a "fake artist." After saying that "the rhetoric surrounding me as an artist is kind of getting to be a little problematic," she explained that she has been "struggling to find her creative spark" as she's been struggling with her mental health over the past year and a half.

She explained that her art, which had been going viral for being "bad," was created when she was rediscovering herself as an artist. "I’m also just a commission-based artist," she said, explaining that her art has been hard to find because "I don’t necessarily always have artwork up on my website for people to buy.” She concluded by saying, "Art is subjective. You don’t have to like my art. You can like my art."

Madison says that her bisexuality wasn't shown in the final 'Love is Blind' edit.

Though Madison received plenty of screen time in the first half of season 8, she revealed to Elite Daily that the series left out mentions of her sexuality. Madison, who is openly bisexual, mentioned it to several people in the pods, including Alex and Mason, and that she had previously matched with one of her fellow female participants on Hinge.

"I definitely thought that would air, because it’s a big part of who I am," she told the outlet. "At the end of the day, the fact that I got that much screen time…I was like, 'You know what? I’m good.'"

She also said that she was excited to represent queerness on screen (and maybe even in a queer Love Is Blind). "This is a space I want to carve out in the reality TV world. Seeing how many people see themselves in me is so encouraging." She added, "Me and the queer community are banding together to ask for a queer Love Is Blind, and I want to be the host. The love stories that could come out of that would be incredible."

Madison was part of 'Love Is Blind' season 8's love square, comprised of her, Alex, Mason, and Meg.

Early in the pods, Madison became interested in Alex Brown, a 29-year-old real estate broker, as they bonded over their traumatic childhoods. At the same time, she was also exchanging flirty banter with Mason Horacek, a 33-year-old cinematographer and former skater bro, who was also dating Meg Fink.

Although Alex and Madison had a deep connection, their relationship took a turn when Alex began to pull away upon learning that Madison had an avoidant-attachment style. This made Madison realize how much she liked him. Meanwhile, after Mason told Madison he was committed to her, Madison realized she had stronger feelings for Alex. When Madison broke up with Mason, Mason took back his confession and made Madison think he wasn't being fair to her or Meg. Therefore, she was hurt when Alex came into their next date defending Mason.

Though Madison and Alex moved past that disagreement with only a few tears, they didn't end up getting engaged. Alex confessed that his only hesitation towards engagement was how they communicated. He said he couldn't handle another relationship with miscommunication and fighting, and Madison pointed out that she couldn't promise they would always understand each other. Ultimately, Alex decided that they were not ready for an engagement. In a confessional, Madison admitted, "Although it's sad, I feel like it is the right choice."

Madison said that Alex's "toxic positivity" wasn't what she wanted in a relationship.

In an interview with PEOPLE, published on the season 8 premiere date, Madison discussed her breakup with Alex. She told the outlet that, though disappointed, she had no regrets about her time on the show.

She also addressed the final argument with Alex, saying she didn't want his "toxic positivity" in a partner.

She told the outlet, "I think Mason was the real-time example, but I started thinking to the future of, 'Okay, if I come home from a really bad day, do I want to be told to look on the bright side? Or if I get in an argument with a friend, do I want to be told that they're a good person?' No. Because I can get there on my own. What I'm looking for in a partner is someone who's able to sit in those heavy emotions and not feel uncomfortable by it and not feel like they have to push it away with positivity."

"And I think I saw that Alex did that often," she added. "Like whenever he was uncomfortable, he would just push it away and he wasn't really good at sitting in those heavy emotions," Madison adds. "And so I think for me that was a non-negotiable. I need someone who's able to be there with me because I'm going to do the same for them."

After she left the pods single, both Madison and Alex (and Meg and Mason) attended the pod reunion party in episode 11. The exes did not talk to each other during the party (maybe for the best), but Madison had a lot to say about Alex's behavior after the pods.

At the party (where Madison is rocking new, bright fuchsia hair), she told Lauren that Alex had texted her when they got their phones back, implying that he realized he had messed up when he saw what she looked like. Then (and this is where we get confused), she said that he had told her Meg had messaged him and that he had allegedly pitted Madison and Meg against each other in a way. Even Lauren asks where this came from, since Meg was clearly all Mason, all the time in the pods. Madison wrapped things up by calling Alex a "massive liar."

In an interview with PEOPLE, Madison spoke more about her offscreen time with Alex. She recalled, "It was pretty clear to me that he was not the same person that I was speaking to in the pods. That was very obvious," before adding, "He loves to lie."

Madison quickly fell for 'Love Is Blind: UK' alum Freddie on 'Perfect Match' season 3.

Madison returned to the Netflix Reality Universe in August 2025 as one of the first cast members to enter the villa on Perfect Match. She initially partnered up with Temptation Island alum Cody Wright, and their pairing seemed solid since they became the first couple to go into the Boardroom. (Though there was a confessional where Madison said she didn't like Cody's mouth.) However, once they arrived, Madison surprised everyone by setting herself up on a date with Freddie Powell, the 32-year-old funeral director who became a quick fan favorite on the first season of Love Is Blind: UK.

Madison and Freddie quickly got off to a good start, and they ended up matching that night. He was later sent on a date with former Bachelorette Rachel Recchia—and Madison responded by breaking out in tears—but the Brit chose to couple up with Madison again that night. Their coupling came to an end during a wild twist, where the two strongest couples at the time—Madison and Freddie and AD and Ollie—were split up. Madison was sent on a date with Too Hot to Handle's Jalen Olomu-Brown and Love Island USA's Ray Gantt, while Freddie was dumped from the villa entirely. By the end of episode 6, Madison had chosen to couple up with Jalen.
