If you’re an avid online shopper like me, you’re probably aware that Amazon’s annual Prime Big Deal Days sale has officially begun. Yes, you can expect to find seasonal trends aplenty, but more than anything, Amazon’s October Prime Day event features an assortment of elevated basics that will effortlessly anchor your fall and winter wardrobe.

From now until Wednesday, October 8, the retailer will offer a slew of discounted styles from beloved brands, including Madewell, Levi’s, Calvin Klein, and more. While scouring Amazon’s markdowns, I discovered a cropped trench coat tailored to perfection, a pair of sophisticated jeans soaked in deep indigo shade, and a cozy cardigan that’ll keep me nice and warm. Defined by streamlined shapes and neutral shades, these timeless pieces are guaranteed to last a lifetime.

There are also a ton of on-sale shoes and accessories that deserve a prime spot in your closet, too. Take, for example, a set of sleek leather ankle boots or a sumptuous suede bag designed with subtle hints of hardware.

The best part of all is that these items are totally affordable, so you won’t have to max out your credit card to look put-together this season. Ahead, I’ve curated an edit of my favorite Amazon basics, all under $180.
