Dressed to Thrill: Beyonce Knowles in Lanvin Dolce Gabbana

When golden-voiced songstress Beyonce took to the red carpet at last night's MTV Video Music Awards, she looked every bit a tangerine dream in this one-shoulder draped Lanvin number, which she teamed with tasseled Lorraine Schwartz earrings and a lovely sideswept ponytail. Orange isn't the easiest color to wear, but Mrs. Jay-Z looked stunning in the summery hue. Turns out that Alber Elbaz-designed dress wasn't the only reason for her otherworldly glow, however—B announced that she's pregnant! Since the Lanvin designer now has a childrenswear line to his name, we recommend he start whipping up some kiddie creations for the sure-to-be-glam "destiny's child," pronto.

Later in the evening, Beyonce took to the stage in a sequined blazer and tuxedo trousers from Dolce Gabbana's fall collection. We're not sure how she managed to bust a move in those towering platform heels while preggers, but we do know that when she grinned and rubbed her tummy at the end of her performance, she single-handedly saved the otherwise lackluster telecast.
