Daenerys Targaryen? We don't know her.

*gulps*

And then there was one. Out of nowhere, one of Daenarys's two remaining dragons, Rhaegal, is now dead. There seemed to be so much promise in season 1, with Dany giving birth to these three beautiful creatures. But it turns out all the signs were there that the dragons were going to meet a terrible fate.

One of the most anticipated acts in all of Game of Thrones has officially happened, obliterating the most hilarious and often poignant love triangle on the show. Brienne of Tarth and Jaime Lannister finally got together—sorry, Tormund, but it seems like he rebounded just fine—and we got two glorious nights of bliss. So could there be a happy ending?

With one, last, tremulous "Dracarys," we lost another friend and ally to Daenerys Targaryen on Game of Thrones—Missandei, the beautiful, loyal translator. We can almost see the Mad Queen forming before our eyes—and in this context, Missandei's final words takes on a particularly important meaning that (I think) foreshadows Dany's fate.

Daenerys Targaryen is about to do what she's been talking about for juuuust about the whole series. Looking at the episode 4 trailer, she's headed back to Dragonstone, to try and take down the Mad Queen Cersei Lannister once and for all. But, it looks like the creators are teasing a conflict that Dany clearly hasn't thought about.

The Game of Thrones showrunners have hinted that, in spite of Arya Stark killing the Night King in Season 8, episode, the White Walker threat may not be completely gone after all.

As we get closer and closer to the end of the show, the less it seems like some favorite theories are just not going to happen. But there are still a few that may come to fruition, particularly one big one: that Jon Snow/Aegon Targaryen is the Prince Who Was Promised and that he's going to have to kill Dany to fulfill his destiny.
