How to shop like a beauty director.
Summer sale season is in full swing, my friends, and I have my sights set on the 2025 Nordstrom sale. My fellow editors and I have spent countless hours scrolling through the best products available to shop at a steep discount because, honestly, we all deserve to both restock that beauty cabinet and save a little money. It’s girl math, plain and simple, and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.
It’s also helpful that several of my all-time favorite brands are included in the sale, whether I’m looking for fresh (and delightfully supersized) bottles of my go-to shampoo and conditioner for wavy hair, the summer fragrance that helps me survive the sweltering train platform to and from work, or the cream blush stick I, and pretty much every celebrity attending Couture Fashion Week in Paris right now, wear on repeat.

The summer heat is doing a number on my complexion, so a few extra hydrating and exfoliating products are an essential addition to my daily routine.
Nothing erases dark spots from my fair skin as fast as this cult-favorite peel pad system. Don’t forget to load up on the SPF if you use this, as the acids will make your skin more sensitive to the sun’s rays.

My go-to trick to look put together when I’m sweating my face off is to add a little shimmer to my eyes. Swipe these cult-favorite eyeshadow sticks over the lid and blend with your fingers for an easy, otherworldly glow.

I want to feel fresh and sultry during this time of year, so I’m taking advantage of the sale to update my fragrance collection with a few new perfumes.
