Did you get annoyed when Netflix decided to boost its monthly prices? One customer got so upset, he decided to sue the company.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, a customer proposed a class action lawsuit against Netflix this week, because he said he was promised to be "grandfathered in," meaning he'd keep paying $7.99 every month in perpetuity. George Keritsis claims he saw an ad saying the $7.99 rate was guaranteed, and called a customer service rep, who confirmed he'd be grandfathered in. Knowing that information, he decided to subscribe to Netflix, but by October 2012, his rate went up to $8.68, and this June, it went up to $9.99 every month.

Keritsis said he then called Netflix's customer service line, and a representative said the could see his account was "grandfathered in," but explained the company was raising prices for all accounts, including his. He's now suing Netflix for breach of contract, and wants to make it a class-action suit to represent all account holders like him. That could be a whopping 22 million people.

Netflix has yet to respond to the lawsuit. But if Keritsis gets what he wants, you might be one of the millions who gets a few extra bucks in your pocket by the end, which will likely be used to buy snacks to eat during your next Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt binge.
