What is Agoda's refund policy?
Because Agoda is a third-party booking site, the cancellation rules depend entirely on the specific property and the rate you select at checkout.
If you book a free cancellation room, you can typically cancel via your Agoda account for a full refund up to 72 hours before your trip. However, if you book a discounted non-refundable or secret deal rate, you are locked in and will not get a refund if you change your mind.
Make sure to double-check your dates before hitting confirm.
Does Agoda have a price match guarantee?
Yes, Agoda has a best price guarantee. If you book a hotel on Agoda and then find a lower price for the exact same room, dates and location on another site, Agoda will match the lower rate or refund you the difference.
To do so, you must take a screenshot of the cheaper rate and submit a claim form through Agoda’s website by 11:59 PM the day before your check-in date. However, this does not apply to rooms booked using the PointsMAX program or blind secret deals.
Is Agoda legit for hotels?
Agoda is 100% legit; in fact, it's owned by Booking Holdings, which owns massive travel companies such as Booking.com, Kayak, and Priceline.
Can I get hotel loyalty points booking with Agoda?
No. Because Agoda is an online travel agency, major hotel chains like Marriott, Hilton, and Hyatt will not award loyalty points or elite status perks for rooms booked through a third party.
