Does IHG have a price match?
Yes, IHG’s Best Price Guarantee guarantees you will always find the lowest rate when you book directly on their site. If you book a room on IHG Hotels and then find a lower rate for the exact same room (same dates, bed type, cancellation policy, and currency) on a third-party website within 24 hours, IHG will not only match that lower price, but they will also reward you with 5x the IHG One Rewards points on your room (up to 40,000).
Do IHG points expire?
It depends on your membership status. If you have Elite status with IHG One Rewards your points never expire as long as you maintain that status.
However, if you are a base-level Club member, your points will expire if your account is inactive for 12 months.
Are IHG hotels pet-friendly?
Many IHG hotels are pet-friendly, but the rules and fees vary widely by brand. If you are travelling with a furry friend, Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants is the best choice. Kimpton allows pets of any size, weight, or breed to stay completely free of charge, and they even provide pet beds, food bowls, and courtesy bags.

What is the IHG Hotels cancellation policy?
Your cancellation rules depend entirely on the specific rate you choose at checkout. If you book the best flexible rate, you can usually cancel your reservation completely fee-free up to 72 hours before your scheduled check-in (the exact time varies by property).
However, if you book an advance saver or book an early and save rate to get a bigger discount, those bookings require full prepayment at the time of purchase, which is non-refundable.
