Netflix announced Single's Inferno was renewed for season 5 on February 12, 2025, just one day after the season 4 finale. According to the announcement, season 4 had the biggest first-week viewing numbers in the series's history and "spark[ed] lively discussions online." With the renewal, Single's Inferno is the first Korean reality series on Netflix to reach a fifth season.

Is there a 'Single's Inferno' season 5 trailer?

The official trailer for Single's Inferno dropped on January 5, giving viewers an extended peek at the most dramatic season yet—at least, based on the host panel's shocked reactions. (Dex nearly launches himself out of his seat at one point.)

Based on the clips, season 5 seems notably racier, including a steamy photo shoot in Inferno and a couple complaining about the cameras while canoodling in bed in Paradise. Who is in the cast of 'Single's Inferno' season 5?

Unlike dating shows like Love Is Blind, Single's Inferno typically doesn't reveal its full cast ahead of airing. However, since season 3, each installment's official poster has highlighted some of the standout (and eventual fan-favorite) cast members.

For season 5's poster, the series previews seven faces making their global reality debut on Netflix. Based on unconfirmed reports from Korean outlets, three women have allegedly been identified: 26-year-old former Miss Korea 2022, Kim Go-eun, 29-year-old track-and-field star Kim Min-ji, and 25-year-old former Miss Earth 2022, Mina Sue Choi.

Ahead of the premiere, producers Kim Jae-won, Kim Jung-hyun, and Park Su-ji teased season 5 while speaking to The Chosun Daily. "This season had more main characters than any other," they said. "Unlike previous seasons where the narrative focused on one or two star cast members, it seemed like various characters, much like the multi-casting film Love Actually, interestingly showcased their own stories."

Who are the hosts of 'Single's Inferno' season 5?

For its fifth season, Single's Inferno will keep the same host panel, with rapper Hanhae, former contestant Dex (a.k.a. Kim Jin-young), comedian Hong Jin-kyung, actress Lee Da-hee, and Super Junior member Kyuhyun all returning.

If, for whatever reason, the series ever features different hosts, fans likely wouldn't get much advance notice. According to Time, the host panel films their reaction segments during the show's three-month editing process post-filming. Still, here's hoping that all five emcees will return.

How many seasons will 'Single's Inferno' have?

We'll likely see even more Singles Inferno after season 5, too. As reported by Time, in a December 2024 Instagram post, producer Kim Jae-won said he hoped the show would continue for a full decade.

"Now that we’ve made it to season 4, we’re aiming for season 10 and hoping to become the longest-running dating show in Korea," Kim said.
