Last July, The Devil Wears Prada 2 costume spoilers became so intense, I seriously considered blindfolding myself until filming wrapped. Now that the press tour has landed in New York City, I'm loosening the reins on my "no spoilers" stance and fully immersing myself in each of Anne Hathaway's press tour outfits.
Six months after 20th Century Studios shot the sequel's final scene, Hathaway reunited with her character, Andy Sachs, in post-makeover montage style. She and stylist Erin Walsh showed out right away for the first event in Mexico City, with Schiaparelli's imagining of the Spring 2026 fringe trend. Right away, fans knew we aren't in 2006 anymore, a fact her South Korea, Tokyo, and Shanghai stops have also proven.
As a celebrity style expert and Devil Wears Prada super-fan, I ID'd the Schiaparelli tags on her dress in minutes. That wasn't the case during the original film's press tour run, though. The brand behind her debut Devil Wears Prada premiere pick—a crimson-colored, cowl-neck gown—still remains a mystery. Even the stark white, one-shoulder dress from the film's 2006 Venice Film Festival premiere hasn't been ID-ed online.

20 years ago, Anne Hathaway proved The Devil Wears Prada was a fashion film in a red gown.
A few months later, the Venice Film Festival welcomed Hathaway's next dress.
It seems Hathaway's The Devil Wears Prada 2 run is making up for lost time (and credits) with instantly-recognizable designs. If the actor indeed embraces method dressing—as her on-theme 2026 Oscars gown teased—expect to get déjà vu a few more times before May 1. That said, you're going to want to bookmark this post for all of Hathaway's The Devil Wears Prada 2 outfits. Trust me, I'll have each new look live faster than you can say "cerulean."
March 30: Anne Hathaway's Schiaparelli Outfit in Mexico City
Anne Hathaway and Meryl Streep posed after a Devil Wears Prada 2 Q&A, with Hathaway in head-to-toe Schiaparelli.
Hathaway was all smiles in a five-figure outfit from Schiaparelli. Elongated fringe atop the button-down's flat collar and cuffs added movement to her otherwise-sleek skirt set. The same curtain-like trim returned along the asymmetrical hem of her matching, floor-length pencil skirt.
Together, the two-piece would've set Hathaway back $14,100—a price tag circa-2007 Andy could only afford to borrow from Runway's fashion closet. Schiaparelli's equally-expensive, eye-shaped Bijou Belt popped against the black fringe. The Oscar winner's 'fit ended on a surprisingly wallet-friendly note with a $350 east-west bag from Pakistani leather label Warp.
March 30: Anne Hathaway's Stella McCartney Outfit in Mexico City
Hathaway was impossible to miss in Mexico City, thanks to her sequined Stella McCartney mini.
Stella McCartney debuted her Fall 2026 collection three weeks ago, and it's already in Hathaway's closet. At the sequel's Mexico City premiere, she strutted down a Runway-approved catwalk in a fit-and-flare, long-sleeve dress. Every nook and cranny of the mini sparkled with burgundy sequins, but the drama didn't stop there. Over-the-knee boots—which stretched so high they mimicked leather pants—emerged from beneath Hathaway's ultra-pleated hem.

April 6: Anne Hathaway's Cerulean Blue Sweater Outfit in Tokyo
Hathaway posed with Meryl Streep and a reporter dressed in a modernized cerulean sweater.
A week after Streep revisited the "lumpy" cerulean blue sweater, Hathaway offered her take on the look in Japan with help from Sacai. Walsh chose an off-the-shoulder knit from the brand's Fall 2026 in an almost-identical shade of not-quite-turquoise, not-quite-lapis yarn. Ribbed cuffs and fringed tiers added visual interest. Even the brown, pattern-less skirt was a chic upgrade from the plaid one she wore in the original film.
April 6: Anne Hathaway's Valentino Haute Couture Outfit in Tokyo
Hathaway's Tokyo premiere pick from Valentino matched the sequel's devil-ish color palette.
Hathaway and Walsh sourced a strapless Valentino Couture gown in the sequel's signature colors. It seems like they also coordinated with Streep's stylist, Micaela Erlanger, because both co-stars were aligned on the palette. (Streep wore Chanel Métiers d'Art Spring 2026.) Extra points go to Hathaway for endorsing Alessandro Michele-era Rockstud Pumps.
April 8: Anne Hathaway's Vaquera Corset Outfit in South Korea
Hathaway waved to fans in Seoul, South Korea, while wearing a voluminous corset and leather pants.
A three-hour flight took Hathaway and her designer-filled luggage to South Korea, where she reemerged in a puff-sleeve corset and black leather trousers from Vaquera Fall 2026. The two-piece marked her edgiest Andy Sachs homage so far, but still felt appropriate for a 9-to-5 shift at Runway.
April 8: Anne Hathaway's Balenciaga Leather Outfit in South Korea
Hathaway wore Balenciaga for the first time since Oct. 2025.
Balenciaga's devil-red Fall 2026 skirt set was a perfect shade match to the life-size stiletto behind Hathaway at the sequel's South Korean press conference. Model Alex Consani flared its funnel-neck on the Paris Fashion Week catwalk, but Hathaway folded the collar down to reveal a diamond-encrusted Serpenti necklace from Bulgari.
April 10: Anne Hathaway's Susan Fang Outfit in Shanghai
Hathaway touched down in Shanghai dressed in a tulle dress from Susan Fang.
Susan Fang, known for her romantic textures and pastel color palette, joined Hathaway's The Devil Wears Prada 2 run in Shanghai, the designer's hometown. The actor chose a tea-length Fall 2026 midi called the Air-Flower dress, decorated from neck to hem in bubbly tulle. On camera, it appeared snowy white, but the fabric actually features horizontal lavender and baby blue stripes. Zoom in to appreciate the transparent beadwork atop the spaghetti-slim straps.
April 20: Anne Hathaway's Louis Vuitton Outfit in New York City
After posing with her Devil family, Hathaway showcased her red tea-length dress solo.
With the (fictional) Runway offices mere steps away, it's no surprise Hathaway showed out at the New York City premiere. Every element of her satin dress by Louis Vuitton was devil-red, including the sculptural bust, the fitted corset, and the pleated, drop-waist skirt. It didn't cling to her legs like previous Devil Wears Prada 2 dresses, though. Countless petticoats gave the tea-length midi as much volume as a Princess Diaries-worthy ballgown.
To finish, Hathaway traded a statement necklace for matching platform pumps, plus ruby-and-diamond earrings from Bulgari.
Anne Hathaway's Versace Outfit in London
Hathaway showed some skin in custom Versace on the Devil red carpet in London.
Hathaway and The Devil Wears Prada 2 crew brought some sunshine to the London premiere. It added a gorgeous sheen to every A-lister's red carpet look, especially Hathaway's custom, tuxedo-inspired Versace gown. Beyond the bedazzled neckline and cut-out-heavy torso, the train's luscious velvet turned blue ever-so-slightly.
Anne Hathaway's Louis Vuitton Outfit in London
Hours later, Hathaway delivered another custom look, this time from Louis Vuitton.
Hathaway and her pristine ponytail weren't done for the evening. Once the sun set, she returned for a gala reception called "A Night With Runway," where she posed in a custom Louis Vuitton ballgown. It stayed true to the cult-classic's color palette with horizontal black-and-white stripes, which stretched from her sweetheart neckline onto the skirt's bubble-hem overlay. Meanwhile, Hathaway's Bulgari Serpenti choker and matching earrings boasted too many diamonds to count.
