Can I tell you a secret? I’ve always been intimidated by loud, saturated color combinations. I often gravitate toward neutrals—mocha mousse and vanilla are my favorites—because they're inherently reliable. Subdued and soft, these shades cycle through my outfit rotation with ease (which is especially important for a pragmatist like myself, whose personal style thrives on versatility).
With that said, I’ve recently been inspired to step out of my color-palette comfort zone—thanks to the Spring 2026 runways, where designers showcased unconventional mash-ups that surprisingly made sense.
At Chloé, Creative Director Chemena Kamali combined butter yellow and cool blue, demonstrating that this season’s most viral pastels can co-exist.
