Every Fall Denim Trend Is on Sale at Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue

The fall 2024 runways have me excited about denim again. While my style tends to revolve around basics, this season's slate of denim trends is too good to miss out on. Luckily, I only need to look in the current sale sections at Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue to find every trendy, luxury denim piece I have my eye on for less than $300.
Denim is (finally) fun again. Jeans are becoming baggier and wider in the leg than ever before. Monse and Christian Dior have fashioned the classic fabric into some seriously cute dresses and skirts. Tory Burch and Victoria Beckham have also reignited my love for dark-wash denim styles (which are especially cute for your fall office outfits!) after a summer spent living my lighter iterations. Controversial skinny jeans returned to the runways at Miu Miu this season, so I may just pull them out of retirement. Oh—and I spotted plenty of metallic styles at brands like Stella McCartney and Etro.

Katie Holmes wore barrel-leg jeans not even a week ago, so naturally, I'm eyeing them for myself. I would style these her way with a button-down shirt and ballet flats.
What's great about these ultra-baggy jeans is that they're practically guaranteed to be comfortable. With Rag Bone's soft, lightweight denim made with Tencel, this pair can be worn all day long.
Baggy jeans can still look polished, as this best-selling pair from Ramy Brook proves.
Maybe it's their high rise, but these jeans have a classic feel you're bound to reach for repeatedly.
This pair from Frame is another take on the divisive barrel denim trend. The asymmetrical hem is unique and practically begging to be worn with one of 2024's trendy new sneakers.
Dark Washes
Tory Burch, Victoria Beckham, and Bevza prove deep and dark are the preferred denim washes of fall.
Wear this pair of jeans with boots and sneakers for now, then come spring and summer, throw on sandals and flip-flops.
Cuffed hemlines are everywhere right now, and I'm not mad about it. This pair is the ideal opportunity to show off the ankle boots I've been waiting all summer to pull out.

This mini dress from Nicholas made me stop scrolling in awe. I love the hourglass shape and the brown contrast stitching—it would go so well with a pair of light brown boots and a suede bag like Bella Hadid's favorite Coach Brooklyn bag.

Skinny Jeans
Miu Miu and Bally proved that skinny jeans are, in fact, back.
With just a touch of stretch, this pair of skinny jeans won't feel too tight—nearly every review mentions how comfortable they are.
These remind me of the jeans I used to wear in the 2000s, but not in a bad way. The medium wash, mid-rise fit, and ankle-grazing hem are all details that feel nostalgic and fitting for a trend that's nostalgic in and of itself.
Some of us (myself included) only stick to jeans with a high rise, and that's okay! This pair is extra special because it's made from plastic-free stretch denim.
The Kardashians were the queens of skinny jeans at one point so it's no surprise Khloe Kardashian's Good American line makes a great pair.
I would style these with an oversized belted leather blazer and black ankle boots—it's a look I plan on wearing immediately.
Pro tip: Black skinny jeans are elevated enough to wear to the office. This Good American style is stretchy (read: comfortable) too.

Playing with different textures—like the ones we saw at Fendi and Chloé—is a fun way to break up your denim selection this season.
Why stick to one wash when you can wear two? This pair has a casual feel, but they're a great way to switch it up when you're bored of your usual straight-leg styles.
This pair from Moussy Vintage has that rigid, non-stretch feel that only improves with every wear.
This skirt has '70s fashion vibes written all over it. Pair it with clogs and a flowy blouse to complete the look.
At first glance, you may not notice what's so special about these jeans, but once you peek at the back, you'll understand. They have an entirely different wash, giving the illusion that you're wearing two pairs of jeans simultaneously.

Shiny Details
Shiny details manifested in different details across the fall 2024 shows at Etro, Undercover, and Stella McCartney.
If you want to go all out on the party pants trend, this is the pair for you. Keep the rest of your outfit simple, though.
This pair features the metallic trend in a cult-favorite fit: the kick-flare. Wearing them with black boots that come up higher on the ankle will elongate your legs.
I love this pair of studded jeans from Mother. They're more appropriate for daytime looks but offer more flair compared to your average jeans.
Blame it on the Gen-Z in me, but I've always wanted to dress like Miley Cyrus in Hannah Montana. These bedazzled jeans instantly reminded me of that iconic character but all grown up.
